Obituary of Dean Andrew Lidell

Dean Andrew Lidell

2/24/1967 - 5/13/2023

Dean was born on 2/24/1967, at Balboa Naval Hospital, in San Diego Ca. He's survived by his Mother Diane, Brother Jason, Son John Ready and his Grandson Nate Ready.

In Dean's youth, he had a love of music, dancing, the local beaches and surfing. Along with his great love for martial arts. Dean enjoyed the Scouting life and excelled in Devil Pups, Indian Scouting and Sea Cadets.

Dean had dreams of joining the Navy, but health issues kept him from doing so.

Like a Jack of all trades he acquired many skills through the numerous jobs that he had held. Eventually this led him into the Nursing field.

He attended college and recieved an AD in Nursing degree. He then pursued that career path.

Dean had a love of comedy and used it to cope with stress throughout his life. Science fiction, gaming and poltics were high on his list of interests.

Dean battled Highpertention, ADHD with Tourettes. Hip replacement (3) brought on by a trajic car accident, causing him life-long pain.

Dean had character and integrity. He was the first one to step up to help his parents and family. Eventually he became my caregiver. Over a period of years he developed Diabetes and was insulin dependent. This complicated his overall health greatly.

In July of 2022 Dean had a stroke, that left him partially blind & half paralized. From that point on, many other complications developed. He ended up needing and living in a rehab, convalescent facility.

Dean lost his battle after a hard fight and passed away on May 13, 2023. I will greatly miss my son, until the day comes, when I will join him again.
