Obituary of Eileen L. Longstreet

 Eileen Longstreet, 73, passed peacefully at home March 18, 2023, with her family by her side in Elk Grove, California.

 

She was born on July 4, 1949 to Robert and Lila Richards.

 

She worked for Sierra College in Rocklin, CA, and San Jose State University. Her hobbies included knitting and quilting. She enjoyed watching football and taking Disney trips with the family. An avid collector of anything related to Disney and Star Trek, she valued family above all else. She would frequently make trips between California and Washington to visit family until her heath prevented her from doing so. Her true passion was genealogy, tracing family trees back several generations and often taking family trips to visit graveyards of long lost relatives.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Patti Garrison and her husband Patrick; son Michael Longstreet and his wife Jayna; four grandchildren Kevin, Kira, Morgan, and Abigail; and numerous cousins.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Longstreet.
