Jean Poznak Blakeslee was born October 15th 1925, who was 92 years young before she passed peacefully on November 10th 2017. She was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey lived her adult life in Clark, New Jersey then retired in Orangevale, CA. She enjoyed spending her free time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife of 46 years to her husband Bruce Blakeslee. A loving mother of Scott & Cindy Blakeslee of Folsom and Don & Lillian Blakeslee of Sacramento. Sister of Bob Poznak of New Jersey and Lucille Gornitzky of New Jersey. Adoring grandmother of Rachelle Blakeslee of Folsom, CA and Andrea Theis of Folsom, CA. Jean loved her family with her whole heart. She would do anything for her two sons, two daughter's in law, and two granddaughters. Jean was not only cherished by her family, she was also a beloved member of the community. She made an impact and drew others in with her kindness, wittiness, and loving ways. In her past time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, listening to Frank Sinatra, exercising, and reading good books. Jean will be remembered always as a loving mom, grandmother, and friend. She shared many special memories with her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
