Obituary of Tereso Benny Rafanan

Tereso (Sonny) was born March 9, 1947 to Tereso (Benny) and Ruby Jewel Rafanan in Sacramento, California. He was the eldest of five children, followed by Christina (Sisty), Daniel, Anthony and Timmy (deceased). He attended Elk Grove High School before enlisting in the United States Army. He served in Vietnam from 1965-1968 earning a CIB among other awards and medals. He returned home to Sacramento in 1968. Tereso had four children, Junior (deceased), Mario, Monika and Jolene, six grandkids and ten great-grandkids. He loved spending time with all his family especially the kids. Tereso was a man of great morals, pride, respect and beliefs. He had many friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He believed in family and taking care of one another. For all who knew him, family and friends, he will be greatly missed. Until we meet again.
