Obituary of Barbara Ann Burbank

Burbank, Barbara Ann of Sacramento, CA (age 85, born August 23, 1932 in New Orleans, Louisiana) was received by Our Lord on November 21, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Albert Joseph Burbank and Jeanne DeCoud Burbank of New Orleans. She was preceded in death by siblings Leonette Burbank Berniard, Dolores Burbank Haydel, Albert Joseph Burbank, Jr. and Noel Anthony Burbank. She is survived by daughter Diane Ross of Northern California and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Barbara first moved to Sacramento during the 1950s and then to Los Angeles where she resided until moving back to Sacramento. Barbara lived a peaceful simple life and enjoyed visiting and communicating with family regularly. Barbara had a very close relationship with Jesus Christ and prayer was central to her life. Her favorite cuisine was the infamous flavor of New Orleans. She possessed a quiet dignity that served her well. We will all miss her smile, life commentary and precious love for all of us. She will be remembered by loving family in Louisiana, California and various states.
