Obituary of Margaret Louise Rand

Margaret Louise Olson-Rand born December 9th 1926 passed away October 14th 2017 We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Margaret Louise to small cell lung cancer. She battled various forms of cancer since 1968; truly a brave and strong 49 year survivor in every sense. As a teenager, Margaret worked for Southern Pacific Railroad at the Market Street Embarcadero, San Francisco location. She also enjoyed a 35 year career as a Kinney’s Shoe Store Manager in the Bay Area. Margaret Olson was married to William Rand for 35 wonderful years. Bill was in the Air Force in WWII. Margaret is survived by her daughter Patricia, her sisters Helen and Lynn and her brothers Jim, Art and Kenneth. There will be a celebration of her life on November 11th in Lincoln California.
