She is finally at peace and no longer has any pain. She is in every sunrise and sunset, and that warm breeze which tells you Spring is on it's way.

Sara attended North Monterey County High School and graduated in 1995 and continued her education at Hartnell Junior College.

Sara married Mike Ratliff on February 9, 2002 in Gilroy, California. Sara worked many jobs in her younger years, and many at the same time.

After moving to Lincoln area in 2005, she worked at Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ as a server and the bartender for ten years. Moving onto Thunder Valley Casino, in 2016. She excelled as the Executive Assistant to the Head of Table Games, as well as to the Head of Poker.

Her real job was spreading love and kindness and just like her father and grandfather, She never met a stranger. Sara was never selfish with the kindness in her heart and always shared her highly sought "Sara Hugs".

This amazing woman was devoted to her family and had this uncanny ability to just make things work. It could be as simple as solving a computer issue for a loved one or making sure twenty-five pepole sat down to a hot holiday meal. Sara was the best mom to her kids and always made sure they came first. She would attend every game, play, or cheer event. Sara loved to watch her kids have fun and succeed. Nothing made Sara smile more than when she watched or talked about her children.

She is preceded in death by Gerald "Jerry" Pemberton, her paternal grandfather, and her cousin Danny Hart, both of Salinas, California.

Sara is survived by her husband, Mike Ratliff of Lincoln, California along with their three children; Austin, 20 years old, Faith, 16 years old, and Brittain, 11 years old.
