Obituary of Martha J. Hall

Martha J. Reed Hall, 95, was born February 22, 1927, in Little Rock Arkansas,  the daughter of Sterling and Lucy Reed.  She married Colice R Hall, July 1944. He preceded her in death in 1974. Martha passes away October 10, 2022 in Elk Grove, CA 

Also preceding her in death was her sons, Archie Hall, Colice Hall Jr., Mark Hall and her daughters, Joann Hardy, Brenda Wright and Linda Mitchell. 

Surviving are:  her daughters, Elmeter Hall and Judy Pernell-Stevens and her husband James C. Stevens, her three sisters, Betty Forbes of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mildred Flenory of Chicago, Illinois and Elizabeth White Murphy of E. Palo Alto, CA. 14 grandchildren, Erica Walker, Ebony Hall, Brendon Wright, Nicole Evans, Shawna Pullen, Ashley Pullen, Lydiyah Yasharahia, John Thomas, Adrinus Pernell, Jason Pernell, Kenyon Stevens, Jamie Holder, Mark Hall and Montel Hall. 35 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives.

Martha was a member of the Church of Christ, Elk Grove, California. She enjoyed cooking, washing, and keeping up with her “purse”.  Most of all she loved time spent with her family and friends.

 

 

A funeral service will be held at Affordable Cremation & Funeral Center on November 4th, 2022 at 1-3pm.
