Joanne Hall Obituary
Joanne Louise Hall passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 29, 2022, at the age of 73. This was after a 2-year long battle with cancer. She was born in Washington State the second daughter of parents Doris and Edwin Snyder. She and her sister (Barbara) grew-up on Miller Bay in Poulsbo, Washington. Joanne gave birth to her only daughter Jacqueline Beth in 1971 and they moved to San Jose in 1982. As a single Mom, she worked tirelessly at Lockheed Martin as a Quality Control Manager in a department that tested equipment for space technology on Satellites. She retired and moved to Roseville in 2011 to live less than 1 mile from her daughter Jackie Michaels, Son-in-Law John and her 5 granddaughters’ (Alyssa, Kylie, Amberlyn, Nicole, and Kenzie). During her retirement years she enjoyed traveling and volunteering at her Church. She loved arts and crafts and took much pride in the special personalized homemade cards she gave to all her family and friends. She kept in touch with her family roots in Washington and made regular trips to see friends and family often. Her greatest joy was being with family, and she never missed a family event and was involved in the daily events involving her grandchildren of whom she adored. She absolutely loved cruising and some of her happiest moments involved cruising on the Disney Cruise Ships and going to Disneyland and Disney World with her grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will be held on the property she grew up on in Miller Bay on August 6 at 11am. All her family and friends are welcome to join this celebration and share any fond memories of Joanne.
