Obituary of Pearl Madeline Jackson

Pearl Madeline Jackson Born in San Jose, CA 01/04/1926. Died in Roseville, CA 01/29/2022. Pearl had so many talents: cooking, drawing, crochet, knitting, baking, craft making just to name a few. If she saw something she liked, she could draw up a sketch, go home and make it better than the original. She was a Navy wife for over 34 years setting up house in California, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington state to Hawaii, finally settling in Nevada until the death of her husband, Joseph in 1979. In 1983 she found love again with her lifelong partner of over 38 years, Doc (Henry) Martin who shared her love of craft making and being in the mountains living in Emigrant Gap, CA for several years. Pearl and Doc made several wooden toys they donated to children organizations during the holidays. In 2021, Pearl & Doc moved to Roseville, CA in a facility where she passed. She is survived by Doc Martin, her lifelong partner, her four children, Kathleen Gatchell, Patricia West, Cynthia VanCampen and Michael Jackson as well as 12 grandchildren: Kim, Karen, Kerrie, Donnie, Shelly, Wade, LeeSa, Nathan, Sharon, Tuanya, Rosie and Emma. Lots of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. We want to thank the staff at Meadow Oaks facility for taking care of her, especially to Selina and Monique. A thank you to Amy at Affordable Funeral in Roseville for helping make a difficult situation less stressful. God sent us a few good angels.
